Believe it or not, I've seen a couple of love stories where the main character is agoraphobic. The latest one is a futuristic French movie called "Thomas In Love". Can't remember the name of the other one, but it was pretty quirky, too. Haven't found any yet where it's a woman. Maybe I'll have to write my own!

Re: Best Entertainment For Agoraphobics
Fri, March 25, 2005 - 9:11 AMWas the mother in Gibert Grape agoraphobic?
Certainly Edward Scissorhands... but we don't really know which sex he was.... lol or does he only count as a Loner w/O a Body?
Anyone know the 'real' statistic on male vs female agoras?
I would guess females are more inclined if because it is easier (in the past) to continue a 'life' without leaving the house.....
Does living in yr car count if you stay with yr car even if yr car by others definition is in the marketplace but you must be near it?

Re: Best Entertainment For Agoraphobics
Thu, May 11, 2006 - 5:27 AMhey, all-- as far as entertainment with agoraphobic characters is concerned, I have no suggestions. as far as entertainment in general is concerned, the most entertaining thing I've seen in a long, long time is the Arrested Development series-- 2 seasons out so far; I don't know when season 3 is coming out. you have to watch it from the beginning (watch episode 1 before you watch episode 2 and so on), but GOD I DIE LAUGHING every time I put it on. hilarious stuff. and can't all us agoraphobics use a good, relaxing LAUGH?!? heck yes, I say. heck yes.
